Zeshan A. Khan, CEO, Chairman, Co-CTO, and Founder of Xenon-VR. In his past, Zeshan worked as a software engineer, where he developed algorithms for company-focused projects. In addition, he has multiple years of experience as a full-stack developer, where he designed and built customized websites. He also has deep expertise in advanced hardware with embedded system algorithms.
In his free time, Zeshan focuses on research in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Hardware Embedded Systems. He studied Computer & Electrical Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He was a former student-athlete as a track and field runner; he was also a billiard player representing his school team in NCAA tournaments.
Michelle Defossett is Xenon-VR’s CFO and Treasurer. She has led long-term fiscal planning and growth for organizations with annual budgets of up to $23 million and oversaw HR and IT needs for entities with up to 110 professionals. She has also managed various aspects of domestic and international real estate transactions.
Prior to her career in the nonprofit sector, Michelle spent over 20 years in financial services. She began her career with a five-year stint at Chase Manhattan Bank, where she held roles of increasing responsibility within the Global Derivatives, Eurocurrency, and Latin American Debt divisions. After business school, Michelle moved into the asset management sector, working at JP Morgan Asset Management, Pareto Partners, and Stanfield Capital Partners. In her various roles, Michelle led teams that were responsible for new product development/distribution, business development, and process re-engineering initiatives for domestic and international products and markets.
Michelle earned a B.A. in Economics from Vassar College and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, where she was awarded the Robert F. Toigo Fellowship. Michelle is a native New Yorker and resides in Brooklyn with her husband and two children.
Doctor Robert F Gilligan, OD has been in the Optical industry for forty-three years. Dr. Gilligan graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1992 with Clinical honors. Dr. Gilligan’s practice specializes in eye care, which includes vision exams, contact lens fitting, laser vision consulting, and treatment of most eye disorders. He has written articles and trained other Optometrists regarding new techniques in specialty contact lenses. His practice was voted “Best of the Best of Frederick” and he was named Optometrist of the Year for the For Eyes Optical chain. Prior to that, he was a district manager at For Eyes Optical. He was responsible for training Opticians and developing new districts.
Steve Susanibar, Chief Technology Officer & Co-founder of Xenon-VR. In previous experiences, he was a researcher at the institution level such as Princeton, Sandford University and New Jersey Institute of Technology. He also worked as an Electrical Engineer for companies such as Space Exploration Technologies Corp, Emerson Electric Co., and Control Automation Robotics Laboratory. In his free time, Steve focuses on researching control theory algorithms, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision. He graduated with Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics and a degree in Electrical Engineering from New Jersey Institutions of Technology.
